Lime is currently seeking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience to work as a Risk Associate. Reporting to the Head of Risk of the company. This Asst. V.P. level role will monitor and manage the risk of Lime’s customer portfolios, consisting of equities, equity options, futures and options on futures and will be responsible for market risk and client margin control activities within the brokerage firm. The role is located in Chicago, however New York City could be considered for the right candidate. Note that until the stay at home restrictions due to Covid-19 have been lifted, the job duties can be fulfilled by working from home.

Duties & Responsibilities of Role:

  • Implement the Risk Policy of the firm;
  • Interact with relationship managers and directly with clients as needed to ensure compliance within the risk policy thus acting in the best interest of the company;
  • Monitor intra-day risk metrics for all customer accounts;
  • Analyze and understand the risk of accounts with material exposure;
  • Follow the escalation policy when accounts have breached their limits, including calling clients and coordinating the orderly liquidation of positions with the client services team;
  • Continuous evaluation and suggestions on improving risk metrics and limits;
  • Maintain documentation and metrics related to risk settings in the Lime direct market system
  • Assist with issues related to options and option risk

Qualifications / Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Math, Engineering, or Finance.
  • Series 3 and 7 exams. Series 24 preferred but not required.
  • FRM or PRM designation preferred but not required.

Experience / Knowledge:

  • 3+ years of trading, risk management, product control or brokerage experience;
  • Candidate must have previous experience with risk;
  • Very good knowledge of equity derivatives and US margin calculations
  • Experience with other asset classes (Futures, Fixed Income) a plus
  • Must be proficient in Excel

  • Ability to interact with clients on a regular basis;

We are seeking a Mid-level-to-Senior Engineer to administer our Information Technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate has an interest in and passion for system administration best practices, modern security best practices, and information technology solutions. The candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will assume ownership of the IT infrastructure and assets. That candidate will also occasionally travel to the various branches on an as-needed basis. Finally, that candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with senior management to optimize and modernize the firm’s IT infrastructure.

Required Skills:

  • MSCA Windows Server 2012 and/or Windows Server 2016 certifications.
  • VMware VCP-DCV certification.
  • Experience provisioning, configuring, and administrating Windows workstations and laptops.
  • Experience with modern IT Security best practices.
  • Knowledge of identity management and authentication systems (e.g. LDAP/Radius).
  • Working knowledge of NetApp SAN and NFS storage solutions.
  • Working knowledge of DNS, DFS, and DCHCP.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing and negotiating with external vendors.
  • Experience in managing a cap-ex budget for operations.
