When did you first become interested in working in finance?
When I was a kid, I loved going to the bank with my dad and thinking about all the money in there. In my teens, I was interested in the securities markets and my dad got me to watch Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser. Interest rates were high back then, so I put my money into high-yield CDs. Then, in the 80s, I invested in the Fidelity Magellan Fund and really followed the market (and Peter Lynch) very closely.

We ensure that all activities meet with the rules and regulations of the industry as well as Lime’s policies and procedures. I also routinely liaise with regulators in response to regulatory examinations and inquiries.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, but I love to play sports such as soccer, mountain biking, skiing, football, and tennis. I just really love to be outdoors and my family loves hiking and camping (the tent kind) several times a year and just communing with nature.
What famous person would you like to meet and why?
I’d like to meet Charles Darwin to discuss his “Theory of Evolution” and other concepts from his book, On the Origin of Species. Darwin overcame rejection of his evolutionary concepts by many in the scientific community, but his concepts were eventually accepted broadly several decades after his death.
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be and why?
I don’t have just one place I’d like to visit. I want to travel anywhere and everywhere to see the many natural wonders in the world, meet different people, and learn about the multitude of cultures around the world.
What is one thing that most people would be surprised to learn about you?
I’m one of the most competitive people on the planet. I realize losing is a part of sports (and sometimes in life as well), but I hate it.
