Jeff Bell is the CEO and President of Lime Brokerage. He dually serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of the Clearing and Technology Group at affiliate firm Wedbush Securities. Jeff joined Lime in June 2011 through WEDBUSH, Inc.’s acquisition, Jeff is responsible for the oversight and strategic development of the financial technologies broker dealer. Jeff joined Wedbush in 1997, and is responsible for the Clearing and Technology Group, which includes all aspects of Correspondent Services, Information Technology, and Corporate Marketing. Jeff has served on various industry committees including; Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) Core Services Operations and Planning Committee, SIFMA Technology Management Committee, Thomson Reuters Beta Systems Executive User Committee, and the Wedbush Securities Executive Management Committees. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. He lives in Los Angeles, CA with his wife and three children.
John Jacobs began his career in the securities industry as an Examiner for the National Association of Securities Dealers, the self-regulatory organization in charge of overseeing securities broker-dealers on behalf of the SEC. Prior to joining Lime Brokerage in 2004, John managed the compliance operations at New Japan Securities International, Robert R. Meredith and Co., Ascent/Meredith Portfolio Management (an SEC registered investment adviser), and Lexit Capital LLC/NeoNet Securities Inc. John earned his MBA from Stern School of Business at New York University in 1997. Prior to NYU, John was a Naval Flight Officer, flying S-3 Vikings, in the US Navy. John earned a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University.
Michael Richter is currently the CFO and the EVP of New Business Development for Lime Brokerage LLC. Prior to joining Lime Brokerage, Michael was President of Citicorp Securities Services, a NYSE member firm. His career includes senior financial and operational management roles at Citibank, Lehman Brothers, E.F. Hutton, American Express International Bank, and Arthur Andersen. Michael has an engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master's degree from MIT's Sloan School of Management. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Chad Cook is the Chief Technology Officer of Lime Brokerage where he oversees engineering, infrastructure and technology. Chad has been at Lime Brokerage since 2004 and is one of the architects on Lime’s high-performance trading platform. Chad has over 20 years in high technology, building high-performance data communications and security products, and for the past 7+ years, ultra-low latency trading technology at Lime Brokerage. Chad is a recognized leader in technology, having authored articles and books on technology and security topics, spoken at conferences, NATO and United Nations events, and has multiple patents applied for in technology. Prior to Lime Brokerage, Chad has held leadership and engineering roles at BBN, @stake and several startup companies. Chad has a BA in Psychology and Sociology from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
William St. Laurent is Chief Compliance Officer at Lime and began his career in the securities industry in 1989 as an Examiner for the National Association of Securities Dealers, the self-regulatory organization responsible for oversight of broker-dealers engaged in business in the over-the-counter market. He left the NASD as a Field Supervisor and later worked at the American Stock Exchange as a Regulatory Specialist with a shift in focus to broker-dealers engaged in business on the exchange floor. Before joining Lime in 2005, he was the Chief Compliance Officer of XTF Capital LLC where he developed and ran the compliance programs for the broker-dealer and its affiliated investment advisor. Earlier in his career he also managed various parts of the compliance program for Exco RMJ Securities Corporation, a family of government securities interdealer brokers. William earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance in 1989 at the University of Notre Dame.
Dan Bergman is the Senior Vice President of Engineering, Systematic Trading for Lime Brokerage. In his current capacity Dan oversees the design, development and testing of Lime’s high-throughput and low-latency trading and quote platforms. Dan has extensive experience in software development in the data communications industry. Dan’s prior positions include Director of Engineering at Cisco Systems and Director of Platform Software at Juniper Networks. Dan received his undergraduate degree in Physics from Oberlin College and a MS degree in Physics from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Kevin Beadles is a Managing Director of Lime Brokerage where he serves dual roles as Managing Director of Institutional Products and as the Managing Director of the electronic solutions group at Wedbush Securities, an affiliate of Lime Brokerage. Kevin was previously the head of equity trading for Wedbush and prior to joining Wedbush, he was Managing Director Capital Markets at Roth Capital Partners and a Senior Vice President of trading at JB Oxford & Co. Kevin has over 19 years of trading and capital markets experience and has been at Wedbush Securities for approximately 7 years where his responsibilities included oversight of all equity trading, risk management, account coverage and as a senior member of the management team for capital markets. With the acquisition of Lime, he has transitioned to head up our electronic solutions group which is powered by Lime Brokerage. In addition, he oversees offices in Los Angeles, Boston and New York. Kevin is a graduate of the University of Arizona. He lives in Pasadena, CA with his wife and their five children.
Jay Houghton is the Vice President of Engineering, Institutional Products for Lime Brokerage where he leads technical initiatives on both algorithmic trading and backoffice transaction processing systems. During his seven year tenure at Lime, Jay has contributed to the development of several generations of the trading platform technology, most recently the algorithmic product offering. Previously, Jay was Director of Engineering for Magnasource, where he oversaw the design and development of telecommunications software and infrastructure for network management systems. Jay has over nineteen years of experience leading and developing technology efforts for companies such as Lucent Technologies, Sun Microsystems, Siemens, UTC, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Jay received degrees in Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Joseph Signorelli is a Managing Director of Lime Brokerage where he serves as the Managing Director of the Strategy Development Division. Joe was the Founder and CEO of Cactus Trading Systems LLC from 2009 until the firm was acquired by Lime Brokerage in October of 2011. He has more than twenty years of equity and derivatives trading, portfolio management and product development experience. Joe previously served as Managing Director of the QuantStat trading group at TD Securities from 2002 to 2008. He managed the development of several trading strategies including TD’s market neutral equity book. Prior to TD Securities, Joe was a Partner/Director at Stafford Trading with a focus on market neutral strategies and quantitative trading. He worked in this role from 1997 until 2002, when TD Securities acquired Stafford Trading. From 1987 to 1997 he was an independent option trader. Joe was a past member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the Midwest Stock Exchange. He resides in Mokena, Illinois with his wife and 4 children.
